On May 16, 2024, the University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Mardan, in collaboration with the District Police Mardan, hosted an Anti-Drugs Awareness Seminar, aligning with the Higher Education Commission's (HEC) Anti-Drug Awareness Policy. The event featured Mr. Arshad Khan, SP Investigation, as the Chief Guest, who delivered a comprehensive talk on the dangers of drug abuse and the corresponding legal framework. Students engaged in a productive question session, gaining valuable insights from Mr. Khan's expertise. The seminar was graced by the presence of Dr. Fazal, Director QEC, and Mr. Khyber Khan Khattak, Director of Clubs & Societies, who jointly presented certificate of appreciation to the distinguished guest, emphasizing the importance of such initiatives in strengthening community awareness and collaboration against substance abuse.
