Orientation Day 2021
An orientation day was held on October 11, 2021, for the new batch of UET Mardan. The event was organized by the Directorate Clubs and Society. The management welcomed the new students at UET Mardan and presented an introductory session.
The event was graced by the Honorable Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Dr Shahid Khattak, Dean, Prof. Dr Sadaqat Jan, and all HOD’s of their respective departments. Honorable Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Shahid Khattak advised the new students about multidisciplinary research to accrue benefits of upcoming creative technologies and future challenges.
The purpose of the orientation day was to introduce the freshers to the system and practices at UET Mardan. They were briefed about academic schedules, library access, engineering laboratories, and computing facilities. The new students were thoroughly briefed about the Life at UET Mardan and were briefed about the Objective Based Education (OBE), grading system, grading criteria, timetable, & extra co-curricular activities. They were also given a tour of classrooms, hostels, library, indoor and outdoor sports grounds, cafe, and labs. The event was ended with a photo session.
