UETM Cultural Event 2019
On 18th Dec, 2019, a colorful event was organized in the University of Engineering & Technology Mardan named “UETM Cultural Event 2019”. The event promoted cultural diversity by providing students opportunity to showcase their cultural heritage. It was then proceeded with an open mike providing students a platform to depict their artistic potential via singing and cultural dances.
The event was formally started with qirat and followed by the walk of students in cultural attires of different regions. The cultures portrayed were Pathan, Punjabi, Chitrali, Hazara, Sindhi & Kashmiri. The event then had an open mike session where students were given an opportunity to display their talents of singing and dancing. Student participation in this activity was overwhelming.
The event was highly appreciated by the Vice Chancellor of UETM as thought to be bringing a positive and healthy environment to the university and the efforts of the organizers were acknowledged
