14th Meeting of the Academic Council
The 14th meeting of the Academic Council at the University of Engineering & Technology (UET) Mardan convened on October 9th, 2023, under the distinguished chairmanship of Prof. Dr. Imran Khan, the Vice Chancellor of UET Mardan. The council addressed several significant matters. Firstly, discussions centred around establishing an Quranic Centre at UET Mardan aimed at promoting Islamic studies and cultural activities within the institution. Secondly, the proposal to offer Short Courses and Certifications at UET Mardan was explored, enhancing skill development for students and professionals. The council also approved the Merit Certificate, recognizing outstanding academic achievements and the Grade Conversion Certificate for international academic recognition. Lastly, the design for the Gold Medal, a symbol of academic excellence, was finalized. The meeting was attended by Prof. Dr. Muhammad Usman, the Registrar, Prof. Dr. Sadaqat Jan, senior most Professor of UET Mardan, Dr. Sahib Khan, Controller of Examinations, Dr. Murtaza Ali, Director Admissions, and all heads of teaching Departments, contributing to the fruitful deliberations.
