  • Experience

    Dr. Najeeb Ullah is an experienced academic with significant contributions to the field of computer science. He currently serves as an Assistant Professor at the University of Engineering and Technology, Mardan, Pakistan, a role he has held since February 2021. In this capacity, he is responsible for teaching a range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses, supervising MS theses, and leading final year design projects. He also actively participates in curriculum design and laboratory setup, ensuring that students receive a comprehensive and practical education.

    Prior to this, Dr. Najeeb was an Associate Professor at CECOS University of IT and Emerging Sciences in Peshawar from June 2019 to February 2021. There, he taught computer science and software engineering courses, supervised student projects, and contributed to academic program development. His initial role at CECOS University was as an Assistant Professor from February 2014 to May 2019, where he began his journey of nurturing young minds and advancing educational standards.

    Dr. Najeeb's work extends beyond teaching. He has led several research projects, including studies on Alzheimer's disease prediction and online examination systems, and has published extensively in high-impact journals. His commitment to research and education has established him as a respected figure in his field.

    His research excellence is evidenced by multiple publications in high-impact journals and periodic conference proceedings. Additionally, Dr. Najeeb has played a vital role in academic committees, serving as a reviewer for international journals and conferences and participating in national curriculum revision initiatives.

    Worked as Assistant Programmer in Elementary & Secondary Education Department of KPK, Pakistan.  My major responsibilities included monitoring Education Management Information System (EMIS) of the whole Distract Swat, Govt. of KPK, Paksitan.

    Worked as Network Maintenance Engineering Online Hospital Management System project of IT Directorate, Govt. of KPK, Pakistan. My major responsibilities included trouble shooting and maintaining network of more than 150 Nodes in the Lady Reading Hospital, the largest hospital of KPK province.

    2. Additional Duties of Chairman Computer Science Department, CECOS University (1st June, 2014 to April 4, 2019).
      • Conducting regular semesters, summer semester, and examinations.

    2. AnyCasting In Dual Sink Approach (ACIDS) for WBASNs - Published in International Journal of Advanced Computer Science and Applications, this paper introduces a novel approach for wireless body area sensor networks.
    3. A Noval Hybrid Approach for Medical Image Compression - This paper, appearing in Current Medical Imaging Reviews, proposes a hybrid approach for compressing medical images, enhancing storage and transmission efficiency.
    4. MRI Images Enhancement Using Genetic Programming Based Hybrid Noise Removal Filter Approach - Another contribution to Current Medical Imaging Reviews, this study focuses on enhancing MRI images using advanced noise removal techniques.
