PEC Pakistan Development Committee Projects
On Wednesday, 3rd April 2024, Engr. Mir Masood Rashid, Convener of the PEC Pakistan Development Committee Projects, Engr. Adil Nawaz, Member of the PEC Pakistan Development Committee Projects, and Engr. Daniyal Hameed, Assistant Registrar of PEC, visited the University of Engineering and Technology, Mardan. They distributed cheques among the students of the Department of Electrical Engineering and Department of Telecommunication Engineering, UET Mardan, who achieved remarkable national recognition by winning the PEC Final Year Design Project Award. One Final Year Design Project from the Department of Electrical Engineering and two Final Year Design Projects from the Department of Telecommunication Engineering achieved this milestone.
The successful projects were: "Solar Powered Smart Energy Management with Modified Panels Cleaning and Sun Tracking System for UET Mardan," supervised by Dr. Gul Rukh, Lecturer in the Department of Electrical Engineering.
"Design and Analysis of Implantable Antennas," supervised by Dr. Usman Ali, Lecturer in the Department of Telecommunication Engineering. "IOT-Based Cattle Farm Monitoring System," supervised by Engr. Shagufta Naz, Assistant Professor in the Department of Telecommunication Engineering.
The PEC team distributed a cash award of PKR 60,000 each to the winning projects.
A large number of faculty and students were present on the occasion.
